How sofa cleaning works
- Check the fabric. I look at the care label and fabric type first, since some fabrics need a gentler method.
- Vacuum and pre-treat. Loose dirt and hair come off first, then spots and arm and head areas are pre-treated.
- Clean and extract. The fabric is cleaned and the dirty water extracted, using an upholstery tool sized for cushions and seams.
- Dry and photograph. I'll give you a drying guide and take before-and-after photos.
What I clean
- Fabric sofas (2 and 3 seats) and corner sofas
- 3+2 suites
- Kitchen and dining chairs
- Armchairs (quote on photo)
- Mattresses
What I can't promise
Some fabrics, such as certain velvets or anything marked "dry clean only", may not suit water-based cleaning. Old or set-in stains can sometimes only be lightened. I'll tell you honestly before I start.
Where
Sofa cleaning is available everywhere I cover, including Balbriggan, Drogheda, Skerries, Rush, Lusk and Bettystown, Laytown and Mornington.
